Community Safety Month

Throughout October we’re hosting a range of interactive events and information sessions that celebrate Community Safety Month and highlight how we can work together to keep our community safe.

On Wednesday 16 October we recognise White Ribbon Day with a lunch and panel discussion featuring keynote speaker, Jelena Dokic.

Join us on Saturday 19 October for Emergency Services Family Fun Day at Boroondara Farmer’s Market. There will be free activities for the whole family, including the opportunity to meet emergency service workers and see inside their vehicles.

If you would like to learn about how to keep your home, car and valuables safe, join us at the Community Safety Forum on Wednesday 30 October. A panel of experts will discuss safety and crime prevention initiatives in Boroondara.

We are also hosting free child restraint checks at our community centres in conjunction with Children’s Week.
