School holiday fun this Spring

Spring school holidays are just around the corner with plenty of exciting activities happening across the Shire to keep everyone active and entertained.

From 23 September to 5 October, local students are encouraged to get involved in an array of free and low-cost activities across a range of interests and skills.

Activities on offer Free skate clinic at the Warragul Skate Park Splash N Bounce at the Warragul Leisure Centre Free drumming workshop called ‘Healing the Beat’ Cheap Tuesday swim at the Warragul Leisure Centre Free movie screening of Detective Pikachu 3 x 3 Basketball at the Warragul Leisure Centre Free writing workshop at the Drouin Library Free parkour and street games at the Warragul Skate Park Free art print-making workshop at the Drouin Library Free Rugby 7’s session at the Geoff Watt Track Free teen bootcamp workout at the Warragul Leisure Centre

Some activities require bookings in advance so be sure to check out the program for specific program requirements. All activities are supervised by qualified staff.

West Gippsland Arts Centre

The West Gippsland Arts Centre also have a variety of programs and activities on offer throughout the school holidays:

West Gippsland Dance Festival from 21-28 September Storytime with the library at WGAC at 10.30am on Monday 23 September Warragul Youth Theatre presents ‘Hansel and Gretel’ from 1-4 October Strange Garden Art Workshop from 10.30am on Wednesday 2 October
