City of Greater Dandenong (Council) gives notice under section 190 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) of its intention to enter into a lease with RMBL Investments Limited ACN 004 493 789 in respect to Part Level 4, 225 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong, being part of the land contained in certificate of title volume 11360 folio 744 (Premises).
The principal terms of the lease will be:
Lease commencement 1 January 2020. A term of 26 months plus options of three further terms of 5 years. A commencing rent of $152,075.00 per annum plus GST with a six-month rent-free period at the commencement of the lease in lieu of fit-out costs. Rent to be increased annually by CPI on each anniversary of the commencement date during the term and any further term. Other charges in respect of services are payable by the tenant. No parking is able to be provided in the Civic Centre basement for this lease.A person may make a submission on the proposal. Any person proposing to make a submission under section 223 of the Act must do so by 5pm on Tuesday 22 October 2019 and state whether they wish to be heard before a Committee established by Council for this purpose. All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

Any person requesting to be heard in support of their submission is entitled to be heard before a Committee established by Council for this purpose or be represented by a person acting on their behalf and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.
