Council meetings to be live streamed

Live streaming of Council meetings is in the frame with testing of audio and video during today’s (September 25) Ordinary Meeting.

Another test will be conducted at the next Ordinary Meeting (9 October), with a view to start live streaming on Council’s website, pending technical assessments, from 23 October.

Public Ordinary, Standing Committee and Special Council Meetings held in the Council Chambers will then be live streamed on Council’s website.

Streaming will cease during Closed Council Meetings, while meetings held off-site will not be web-broadcast.

A recording of a meeting will be available for viewing on Council's website about 48 hours after the meeting.
