Local businesses are vital to the Northern Beaches, providing growth and jobs in our area as well as making it a vibrant place to live and work. With over 32,000 businesses on the Northern Beaches, our small business economy is thriving with over 90% employing five people or less.
October is NSW Small Business Month and to celebrate we’ve got a series of free events to help your business succeed. You can gain valuable support, be inspired to grow your business and network with like-minded people.

Come along to a free information session to help you understand how to successfully navigate local government procurement requirements and tips to strengthen your quotation and tender responses.
Friday 25 October, 1-2.30pm
This workshop will help you to develop a successful approach to grant applications with information on how grants operate and the objectives of organisations offering grants.
Tuesday 29 October, 2-5pm
Improve your food safety score- our Environmental Health team will help you to understand the regulatory requirements to start or grow a food business, common issues our inspectors find and learn about what actions you can take to increase your rating.
