Northern Beaches Council congratulates Carolyn Douglas for being named Regional Educator Winner in the 2019 Excellence in Family Day Care Awards.
Ms Douglas won the title for the Northern Beaches and North Shore region.
The Excellence in Family Day Care Awards recognise the work done by educators, coordinators and service operators in delivering high quality early childhood education and care in the family day care sector.
Carolyn was one of 16 educators from Northern Beaches Family Day Care who were nominated for the Excellence in Family Day Care Awards, along with the Coordination Unit, which was nominated for Service of the Year.
The award acknowledges the important work and contribution Carolyn has made in providing quality early childhood education and care.
Carolyn is now in the running to win National Family Day Care Educator of the Year at the national awards in late October.
The Family Day Care Australia Excellence Awards are the only national awards dedicated entirely to the family day care sector.
