Council is about to treat two highly invasive weeds on Council-managed roadsides and reserves, and residents can help.
Serrated tussock and Chilean needle grass are weeds of national significance and large infestations require ongoing management which can be expensive to treat.
During October, Council will be treating Serrated tussock and Chilean needle grass within Council managed roadsides and reserves before the plants go to seed.
This would also be a good time for landowners to treat infestations of these noxious weeds.
Additional information regarding these weeds can be found at Serrated Tussock and Agriculture Victoria
