Effective from 1 October 2019 Council increased the current water restrictions for both residential and non-residential properties.
Council advises that owing to the ongoing drought conditions, the water level in Wyangala Dam is currently 21% of capacity and is expected to continue to drop over the next six months.
With extremely poor weather forecasts for rain leading up to the summer period, Council wants to make sure it’s existing water supply can meet the increasing demand of the community.
