Direct flights between Busselton and Melbourne

The South-West’s tourism industry is positioned for take-off, with Jetstar to operate direct flights from Melbourne to Busselton from 25 March next year.

The first commercial direct route linking the East Coast of Australia with the internationally-renowned Margaret River region was announced today by the McGowan Government, Jetstar and the City of Busselton.

In a game-changer for the South-West, visitors will be able to fly directly into the region from March 25, 2020, opening up an exciting new era of opportunity for the region.

The air service is expected to be a catalyst for further investment, providing an economic boost to the entire South-West, including the Shire of Capel.
