Spending his childhood with his family in the Torres Strait Islands, he now resides in Brisbane, Australia, and travels nationally and internationally with his music, as a proud ambassador for his Culture and Country. Kooralbyn - A unique collaboration between culturally diverse Queensland artists including Tenzin Choegyal (Tibetan musician / singer), Andrew Veivers (Spanish Guitar), Rebecca Karlen (Violin/Vocals) and John Reeves (Piano Accordion). More information about the games From 12-19 October, more than 1000 athletes from 50 countries will converge on Brisbane to participate in the world's largest sporting event for elite athletes with an intellectual impairment. Athletes will compete in 10 sports including Table Tennis, Athletics and Swimming which are internationally sanctioned and a pathway to qualifiying for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Held once every four years, this will be the first time that the Games have taken place in the Asia Pacific region.
