Nominations are still open for this year’s Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year Awards.
The awards recognise people who show exceptional leadership and contribute positively to our community. Award winners will be announced at the Boroondara Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony to be held on 26 January 2020.
Our selection panel are looking at various criteria when assessing nominations. Some considerations include:
How has the candidate contributed to the community and what has been the impact of their contributions? How has the candidate demonstrated leadership, shown commitment to helping others or inspired others? What special skills, talents or attributes does the candidate have that make them stand out?The awards are open to all Australian Citizens who live, work, study or volunteer in Boroondara. For the Young Citizen of the Year Awards, nominees must be under the age of 26.
Nominate online today by visiting our Enter our Citizen of the Year award page.
Alternatively, nomination forms can be found at all Boroondara Customer Service Centres and libraries.
Nominations close at 5pm, Friday 8 November 2019.
