Nominate now: Cardinia Shire Australia Day Awards 2020!

Nominations can be made online in the following award categories:   •    Citizen of the Year •    Young Citizen of the Year •    Senior Citizen of the Year •    Community Event of the Year

Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Graeme Moore said the Australia Day Awards are a great opportunity to recognise the people and events who make an important contribution to the Cardinia Shire community. 

“We have so many people in our shire who do great work to make our community a better place to work, live and spend time, as well as many events that deserve recognition,” Cr Moore said.

“The Australia Day Award program is a valuable program and we encourage our community members to nominate now.”

The 2020 Australia Day Awards will be presented at a special event in Pakenham on Australia Day, Sunday 26 January. The event will include a citizenship ceremony and activities for families. 

A number of other celebrations will also be held across Cardinia Shire on Australia Day.
