Official opening of Ascot's newest park

Between Lancaster Road, Kitchener Road and McGill Avenue, Ascot Sunday, November 3, 2019, 10am – 2pm Come and celebrate the opening of Council’s newest park, at the location of the former Brisbane Racing Club's car park. Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner will officially open the park at 10.30am and announce the new park name.  Brass Roots, a 13-piece swing band, and a 3-piece jazz ensemble will be playing in the new rotunda. There'll be activities for the whole family including Council and local business information stalls, a sausage sizzle by Hamilton Rotary, Council's Pop-Up Library, face painting, games and heaps more.
