Beach Road night closures this weekend

A section of Beach Road at Batemans Bay will be closed for night works to lay the final asphalt seal.
The road will be closed between Orient Street and Perry Street (near the police station) between 6pm to 6am, from Sunday 10 to Wednesday 13 November. Beach Road will not be accessible from Perry Street or Commercial Lane.
Detours will be in place and commuters should allow extra time to travel through the area. Motorists on Beach Road coming from the Princes Highway will only be able to turn left onto Perry Street. Southbound motorists on Orient Street north will only be able to turn left onto Beach Road. Northbound motorists on Orient Street south will not be able to access Beach Road. Commuters east of the worksite will need to access the Princes Highway by way of the Old Princess Highway or Bavarde Avenue.
During this period Beach Road will be open during the day under traffic control. Pedestrians will be directed through the area as necessary. All efforts will be made to minimise noise but residents nearby may be able to hear heavy machinery.
