From Monday 4 November 2019 until approximately 20 December 2019 Lithgow Library Learning Centre is undergoing urgent building works on the awning & façade.
Despite being shrouded in scaffolding the Library is endeavouring to operate as close to normal hours as possible. However there will be intermittent short notice/short duration closures throughout the works which will be unavoidable to ensure the safety of staff and customers. Closures will be advertised by signs and fliers in the library and also on the library Facebook Page and website.
A short duration closure will take place on Monday 11 November 2019 between 7am and 11am. This will be followed by full-day closures on Friday 15 November 2019 and Saturday 16 November 2019. These closures have been timed to coincide with Council Picnic Day and to minimize impact on customers.
Portland and Wallerawang Libraries will also be closed on Friday 15 November 2019 for Council Picnic day, but will be open from 9am to 12 pm on Saturday 16 November 2019.
