The Ellenbrook Sports Hub has officially reopened after undergoing a full resurfacing.
Works began in May, with one field completed at a time to reduce disruption to users and ensure that the majority of current programs and activities could continue.
The City of Swan made the decision to replace the turf after a number of unsuccessful attempts to remove the defective rubber infill product from the surface.
The replacement came at no cost to the City.
City of Swan Mayor Kevin Bailey said he hoped the hub’s loyal patrons would return to take advantage of the refreshed facility.
"We are pleased to see the facility reopened and available to our sporting clubs once more," the Mayor said.
“I’d like to thank the community for their patience while we rectified this matter.”
