Picton Pool & Swim Club Celebrate 50 Year Anniversary

On Saturday 9 November, Picton Pool will celebrate its 50 year anniversary with community members invited to come along and join the festivities from 10am to 2pm.

The original “Picton War Memorial Pool” was opened on 11 November 1969 and the date will also mark the 50th anniversary of the Picton Swim Club.

The facility is now known as Wollondilly Leisure Centre and includes indoor heated pools, basketball courts and gym facilities, with a wide variety of classes on offer.

The new pool management company, Bluefit Pty Ltd is working with Council to make sure this is a fantastic community celebration.  

There will be free pool entry all day, a giant pool inflatables course, giveaways, face painting, balloon twisting and a jumping castle.
