Isaac Regional Council would like to advise Dysart residents and pool users the Dysart Swimming Pool is open to the public on:
Tuesday, 19 November 2019 From 6am to 7.30pm
The Dysart Swimming Pool trading hours for the 2019 summer season are:
Monday and Friday - 6am to 6pm Tuesday to Thursday - 6am to 7.30pm Saturday and Sunday - 10am to 6pm School Holidays – 10am to 6pm
The anticipated date for the completion of works is on or before 15 November, with essential water treatment and stabilisation taking place to enable the opening on 19 November.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their continued patience while the pool was undergoing a refurbishment.
The concourse on the western side of the pool has developed some hairline cracks. These will continue to be monitored but are not considered to pose any risk to pool patrons. To avoid any further disruption to the pool re-opening the concourse will be replaced during the 2020 winter closure.
The $2 million refit will extend the life of the pool by 20 years and has made it a safe place to cool off, relax, enjoy water play, swim laps, attend a fitness class, learn to swim, improve your swim stroke or join a swimming club.
