Day at the ‘Burgh

Temporary Road Closure

Pursuant to Section 33 of the Road Traffic Act 1961 notice is hereby given that that the following roads within the Edithburgh township will be closed to traffic on Sunday 17 November 2019 between 8.00am and 5.00pm for Day at the ‘Burgh:

Edith Street (between Anstey Terrace and O’Halloran Parade)

Blanche Street (between Henry Street and Thomas Street)

Cross Street (between Anstey Terrace and O’Halloran Parade)

Persons taking part in Day at the ‘Burgh on the above roads are exempted from all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour, wearing of seatbelts and the way persons travel in or on vehicles.
