Cr Jai Wilson is the new chair of the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC), which works on behalf of member councils in Perth's east -- Town of Bassendean, Shire of Swan and cities of Bayswater, Belmont, Kalamunda and Swan. The EMRC provides services such as waste management and education, resource recovery, environmental management and regional development, delivering local and regional scale projects for the beneﬁt of the region.
