WORKS AND EVENTS AROUND YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
The City of Busselton is undertaking the below works during November and some partial road and footpath closures may be in place during this period. Please also note any road closures and/or footpath closures due to events. Please slow down and show caution around any works and/or events taking place.
Car Park Upgrades:
Road Reconstruction:
- Hovea Crescent / Sutton Way - Centurion Way - Ludlow Hithergreen RoadNew Cycleway Construction:
Drainage Upgrade:
- College Avenue (requires the closure of the cycleway between College Avenue and Cook Street)
ADVENTURE PLAY SPACE - SEA PLAY ON THE BAY
The City will be upgrading the drainage that sits under the whale tail within the Sea Play on the Bay adventure play space. This will require a portion of the play space to be fenced off. Additionally, the City will be undertaking installation of exposed aggregate concrete around several seating areas in between the Equinox and the Goose.
Works are scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 3 December 2019 with the project taking approximately one week to complete.
ROAD CLOSURE - MEELUP BEACH ROAD - 20 NOVEMBER 2019
Please note that Meelup Beach will be inaccessible on Wednesday, 20 November 2019 from 7.00am to 4.00pm due to Leavers Celebrations. This includes access to Castle Rock. For further information please contact Carolyn Ryder, Leavers Officer on 9781 1739.
NOTICE OF WORKS – BUSSELTON CEMETERY
The City will be conducting works at the Busselton Cemetery, commencing Monday 18 November 2019 for a period of approximately two weeks. These works will not interfere with any scheduled cemetery related services.
The City apologises for any inconvenience by the above works and will endeavour to minimise delays where at all possible.
