Road Works Update on Chapel and Homeleigh Road Construction, Keysborough

Residents are advised that Chapel Road will be closed to through traffic between 9am and 5pm on Tuesday 19 November 2019.
This closure is required to allow asphalting to be completed on Chapel Road. This will be the first of two full closures required to complete the asphalt on Chapel Road. The second will programmed once the traffic signals are energised.
Peak times for local traffic will be avoided and the closure points will be monitored by traffic controllers. The road will be opened back up to through traffic in the evening. This will still be a contra-flow arrangement controlled by the temporary traffic signals that are currently in place.
Detours during the closure will be via Tyers Lane and Hutton Road. Parking bans have been placed around Tyers Lane to ensure the intersection is kept clear.
