PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF VARIATION OF PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD Section 17 (7) and (7B) of the Bush Fires Act (as amended) enables Local Government to vary the Prohibited Burning Period under the Act due to seasonal conditions. In accordance with these provisions, notice is given that the commencement date of the PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD for the WHOLE of the Shire of Collie has been brought forward from Sunday, 15 December 2019 to MIDNIGHT Sunday, 1 December 2019.
