The Ballarat community is invited to provide feedback on a new Draft Master Plan for Wyndholm Reserve in Wendouree.
The formal exhibition of a draft plan for the reserve brings together 12 months of planning and engagement work with local residents and organisations.
The draft plan will help the City of Ballarat manage and improve the community reserve into the future.
The draft plan identifies opportunities including:
Developing a great, safe space for the community to enjoy Creating a play and active space on the Gillies Road side of the reserve Constructing a network of walking paths and connections Preserving existing environmental elements including the wetlands.Over the past year, the City of Ballarat’s Engaged Communities team has facilitated a range of planning and community feedback sessions to explore what people value about the space and how they use the facilities. The draft plan is based on using all the ideas and suggestions about how the reserve could be used in the future.
