Closure of Bridge across Snowy River off Bairds Crossing Road and Punt Hill Road

This decision has been taken following concerns raised by local residents and an inspection that has confirmed that the bridge condition is unsafe and unfit to support traffic.

A report will be submitted to Council for their consideration on whether an alternate bridge will be considered, taking into consideration that the existing bridge is not an asset of Snowy Monaro Regional Council.

Council will update the community on the outcome of this report to the Council in the coming months.
