Key achievements, projects and events delivered

Children’s Week activities, with seven City of Ballarat departments taking part, including Family and Children’s Services presenting a Family Fun Day at the Ballarat Wildlife Park Protecting four endangered local plants, including the nationally endangered Stiff Groundsel found in the Miners Rest wetlands  Wendouree Parade tram track replacement Three citations in the Keep Victoria Beautiful Sustainable Cities Awards, including the Sustainable Cities Cultural Heritage Award 2019 Winner for the Avenue of Honour and Arch of Victoria beautification, highly commended for the Creating a Cooler Ballarat project and a finalist for the SmART competition
