A total of 6680 head of cattle were consigned at Roma's Store Sale on Tuesday.

Weaner steers under 220kg topped at 278c and averaged 244c, weaner steers 220-280kg reached 286c and averaged 261c. Steers 280- 350kg reached 305c and averaged 273c, and steers 350-400kg reached 310c and averaged 289c. Feeder steers 400-550kg range topping at 306c and averaging 282c. Cows and calves hit $1030/unit.

Reynella Grazing Co, Reynella, Charleville sold Droughtmaster cross steers to 308c, reaching a top of $1274 to average $1121. Colin Meek, Myrtlevale, Springsure sold Santa steers to 308c, reaching a top of $1078 to average $1078.

GJ and CA Roberts, Ridgelands, Injune sold Charolais cross steers to 306c, reaching a top of $1537 to average $1254. BJ and WR Taylor, Marjundale, Injune sold Charolais cross steers to 301c, reaching a top of $987 to average $899. Dart Pastoral Co, Thirlstone, Roma sold Charolais cross steers to 292c, reaching a top of $1030 to average $930.

Robert Loughnan, Alicker, Roma sold Charolais cross steers to 284c, reaching a top of $943 to average $872. The Charolais heifers sold to 259c, reaching a top of $777 to average $758. Brian Cloherty, Kingull West, Roma sold Santa cross steers to 280c, reaching a top of $924 to average $797. The Santa cross heifers sold to 255c, reaching a top of $706 to average $691.

Heifers under 220kg topped at 248c and averaged 193c, while heifers 220-280kg topped at 260c and averaged 225c. Heifers 280-350kg topped at 270c, averaging 234c. Heifers 350-450kg topped at 280c, averaging 250c.
