EMPLOYMENT opportunities become available as construction at the Salvation Army’s new Kubirri Aged Care Centre in Mossman is given a practical completion date of July, 2020.
Recruitment Specialists for the Centre are seeking interest for carers, registered nurses, a centre manager, clinical coordinators and maintenance and gardening staff.
Salvation Army will be liaising with local registered training organisations to provide employment opportunities for graduates and students from communities in the Douglas Shire.
They will visit Mossman and Cairns to further explore the local community networks, including nearby Indigenous communities to find people interested in working at the Centre.
While expressions of interest for employment are being taken now, formal recruitment will commence four months from opening date.
