The Tasmanian Government’s Power$mart Homes program is a new $850,000 statewide program to help low income Tasmanian households save money on their power bills, stay warm in winter, and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
The program offers free home energy efficiency upgrades and a personalised power savings plan. We encourage community housing providers and homelessness services to apply.
This aligns with Item 4.2 from Our Valley 2030, to Promote awareness within the community of external funding opportunities for home energy efficiency schemes.
Details about this fantastic initiative, guidelines and application forms are available on the Tasmanian Climate Change Office’s website or you can contact the Power$mart Homes Client Relationships Officer on 1300 092 857 (during business hours) or at [email protected].
