An art exhibition titled Natural Curiosity featuring the artworks of Elaine Butler and Shannon Pennell will be held at Lithgow Library during December.
Elaine Butler is an Irish/Australian visual artist, mural artist, author and illustrator from Wallerawang. For over 25 years, as a mobile arts educator through her company Fun Time Art, she has offered a variety of artistic educational programmes designed to be a unique, inspiring and a creative learning experience for everyone young or old. Through the Natural Curiosity exhibition, Elaine shares some illustrations from her children’s book series “The Curious Adventures of Parker the Dog”.
Emerging Australian Artist and Curtin School of Design and Art graduate (BFA), Shannon has years of experience in most painting and sculptural techniques. Working from her home in country NSW, Shannon’s works often explore interactions with nature, the rural Australian landscape and personal growth. In Natural Curiosity, Shannon shares her “Spring” series.
