Know somebody who embodies community spirit? Do you know a top-notch sportsman or woman, or a volunteer who works tireless in the background?

Nominations for the annual Australia Day awards are now open.

There are a number of categories including:

Citizen of the Year; Young Citizen Award; Sports Person Award; Services to Sports Award; Community Event of the Year; Bossie Mitchell Service to the Community Award; and the Kerrigundi Award.

Nominations close Wednesday, 15 January 2020.

To nominate you can download the forms or drop into the Council Administration Building, The Great Cobar Heritage Heritage, Youthie or the Library.
