Dazzle your neighbourhood with festive cheer this holiday season and you could be in the running to win a Christmas hamper!

The inaugural Fairfield City Christmas Lights Competition is now on. Snap a photo of your decorated home or your favourite one from the neighbourhood by 12 December and upload it at www.fairfieldcity.nsw.gov.au/ChristmasLights.

Entries will be displayed on Council’s Facebook page for the public vote from 13-16 December. The 10 homes with the most ‘likes’ will win a Christmas hamper for the homeowner valued at $150.

Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone encouraged everyone to get involved.

“Seeing houses all lit up, spreading Christmas cheer throughout the neighbourhood, is one of my favourite parts of the holiday season. I love driving around in December to see the amazing displays,” Mayor Carbone said.

“I look forward to seeing residents put their best festive foot forward this holiday season for our Christmas lights competition.”
