Wyndham’s young people will be spoilt for choice during the summer holidays with the wide range free of youth activities.
From girls’ nights and guys’ nights, moonlight cinema showings, poolside parties and trips to adventure parks, Wyndham has a whole calendar of events to make sure young people have a fun and safe summer.
Wyndham Mayor Cr Josh Gilligan said with the variety of activities in the City’s community centres, pools, parks and even events outside of the municipality, there will be no room for boredom this holiday season.
“The Moonlight Cinema will be showing at community centres in Manor Lakes, Tarneit, Little River during December and January and are a great place for young people to gather and have a great night out.”
“These alcohol and drug free events will provide a safe environment for young people and they will be given free popcorn and fairy floss for the screening.”
“There are gamers events at Point Cook Library and a dance show and workshop in Werribee and even day trips to Luna Park, Aqua Fun Park.”
“For young people who want to have a more low-key holiday, there are drop-in centres for young people at community centres across the City as well as Tunes at the Pool and youth barbecues in some of our wonderful parks.
