Locals and visitors alike can sing along to their favourite Christmas tunes at the eighth annual Mayor's Christmas Carols presented by Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast on Saturday 7 December at Broadwater Parklands.
The free family-friendly event boasts a stellar line up of entertainment for all ages, and will be headlined by one of Australia's most popular and versatile performers, David Campbell.
Mayor Tom Tate said the event catered to all ages.
“This family-friendly event is free and kicks off with children’s activities from 2pm,” he said.
“The main show will commence at 5pm featuring acts like Australian jazz singer Emma Pask and the talented David Campbell.
“Leave dinner up to us, with a range of delicious food trucks to choose from.
“Getting there is easy – just catch the G:Link, or if you live locally, get active and walk, ride, scoot or skate.”
Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast Dealer Principal, Robin Mainali, said the dealership is delighted to support the event.
“The Mayor’s Christmas Carols is the premier Christmas celebration on the Gold Coast and we’re excited to be a part of it again this year,” said Mr Mainali.
“Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast is proud to be associated with such a well-run and popular event that provides local families free access to high calibre entertainers and adds some Christmas sparkle to the local community.”
