News Wild dogs in our region Dec 05 2019 The Shire is aware of an increase in wild dogs in and around our towns. Ranger Services monitor reported sightings and will endeavour to remove wild dogs if they become a nuisance. It is strongly advised that residents keep their dogs on leashes at all times, even when outside of town limits and keep all pets in your backyard. As required by law, please keep your cats confined inside at night. If you do encounter a wild dog, please report the sighting to your local Shire office and do not approach or attempt to feed the wild dog. Living in the Pilbara region means that we do encounter various forms of wild life and we remind everyone to be vigilant and aware of their surrounding environment. More news articles
