The summer holidays are fast approaching and our libraries have much to offer you to keep you entertained.

Whether you are going away or staying at home, don’t forget to drop into your local branch to pick up all of the books, audiobooks, DVDs or magazines you could ever need.

Extended and unlimited loans begins on Monday 2 December 2019 and ends on Tuesday 28 January 2020, during this time you can borrow as much as you would like for a period of 6 weeks.

We have some amazing children’s programs happening over the summer holidays

Don’t forget to join up for Summer Reading Club, information about the program as well as reading logs are also available at all of our libraries.

We have Cool, Calm and Coloured week at all libraries from Thursday 2 to Saturday 4 January and Games week at all libraries from Monday 6 January to Sunday 12 January. These activities are for all ages and no bookings are required.

There's also an incredible range of school holiday activities such as Kids on Congas, card making, STEM Creativities, Spin Joy, 3D creations and many more.

Bookings will be available from 9.30am, Tuesday 17 December. Bookings are essential as places are limited. Please be aware that these programs fill up very quickly. Operating hours during the festive season

Our libraries will have amended hours during the holiday period.

From Monday 16 to Monday 23 December 2019 all library branches will be closing at 5.00pm All library services will be closed from 1.00pm Tuesday 24 December 2019 and will reopen at 9.30am on Thursday 2 January 2020.

Please note: you will still be able to return items through our after-hours return chutes and that all of our online services such as BorrowBox, Overdrive, Freegal and RB Digital will be available during this period.
