The sessions provide a transparent and open-communication platform for community members to discuss ideas and concerns, ask questions and provide feedback to Council.

Mayor Cr Danny Goss, Councillors, CEO Alison Leighton, Executive and Council Officers will be in attendance and available for discussions.

Quotes attributable to Mayor Cr Danny Goss

"Our community want to see the Mayor and Councillors out in the community so they can relay their issues to us first hand. We are responding to that call. These Council pop-ups are about providing a transparent and open-door environment to communicate with residents in a casual and relaxed setting. We welcome everyone to come along and chat with us at any of the upcoming sessions. We want to hear your thoughts first hand."

Quotes attributable to CEO Alison Leighton

“Each Council pop-up session over the past year has attracted a great turnout and engaged a range of constructive conversations across a diverse variety of interests and concerns. We will continue to take these pop-ups to our regional townships, but we’re also keen to chat with those in our bigger townships to ensure we’re accessible to all areas of our community.”
