Works are progressing at Ballymanus Central Park, with many components nearing completion.  

The park, which is located on four hectares in the Ballymanus Estate, features a broad range of facilities that will cater for the Ballarat West Growth Area. 

Update on Works 

The public toilet block is nearing completion  The oval has been completed and is currently being watered to establish grass  The scooter and running tracks are complete, and both are ready for surfacing in the new year  Gabion walls are complete with major earthworks in the surrounding area currently underway  The Hit Up wall is complete  The flying fox, matterhorn, nest swing and slide are currently being installed  The multi-use court is constructed and is ready for surfacing in the new year. 

The opening of the park is expected to occur in February 2020. The slight delay is due to unexpected earthworks and major rock removal, and extreme weather conditions which have restricted contractor's ability to access parts of the site.
