Christmas Opening Hours for Council facilities

Opening hours and break periods for Council facilities during the Christmas and New Year holiday are as follows:

Customer Service Centre Closes: 2pm, 24 December Opens: 2 January

Waste Transfer Stations All stations closed Christmas Day. See Council’s website for individual station holiday hours.

Dover Medical Centre Closes: 12:30pm, 24 December. Closed on public holidays. Regular hours all other days.

Geeveston Medical Centre Closes: 12:30pm on 24 & 27 December. Closed on public holidays. Regular hours all other days.

Childcare Centres Closes: 3pm, 24 December Opens: 6 January

Port Huon Sports & Aquatic Centre Closes: 23 December Opens: 2 January

Cygnet Sports Centre Closes: 21 December Opens: 6 February

Huonville Swimming Pool Closed Christmas Day. Regular school holidays hours 10am–6pm all other days.

Visitor Information Centres Closed Christmas Day. Regular hours all other days.
