An all-star cast will be bringing Christmas cheer to Parramatta at Carols in the Crescent this Saturday 14 December from 4pm - 9pm.
Presented by The Sebastian Foundation, the free event will be hosted by popular singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian and his wife Jules at The Crescent, in Parramatta Park.
“I look forward to celebrating the festive season with the community at this special event,” City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Bob Dwyer said.
The Channel 9 Carols in the Crescent with Guy Sebastian and Friends will feature a two-hour stage show starting at 7pm with a great line-up of performers including musicians, comedians, Santa and more. From 4pm food trucks and amusement rides will be operating, as well as lantern-making, and photos with Santa at Old Government House.
Guy Sebastian will perform alongside a star-studded line up including his brother Chris Sebastian, Jack Vidgen, Reece Mastin, Sam Moran, Margaret Urlich, Chynna Taylor, Karise Eden, Bonnie Anderson, and Mark Furze, who will be appearing as the Christmas Grinch.
“The City of Parramatta is thrilled to welcome such incredible talent back to Parramatta, and support such a wonderful cause,” Cr Dwyer said.
Founders of The Sebastian Foundation, Guy and his wife Jules, said they are looking forward to the concert.
“Christmas is such a special time of year, a time to take a break with your family and loved ones, but for families doing it tough, the pressures of this time of year are huge. Our Foundation aims to help these families who are struggling and the funds we raise at this concert will go to help women and children who have experienced domestic violence,” Founder of The Sebastian Foundation Guy Sebastian said.
“It's going to be an awesome show with some wonderful talent on board, so while you take some time to enjoy the show, we ask that you give a few dollars to help someone less fortunate.”
The event is proudly presented by The Sebastian Foundation, City of Parramatta Council, and Parramatta Park Trust. It is one of the highlights of the Crescent Summer Series.
