Under the provisions of the Local Government (Highways) Act 1982 the following roads and car parks within Burnie will be closed for the staging of Burnie Bite & Brew NYE 2019.
Road Closures
From 1pm on Tuesday, 31 December 2019 until 6am on Wednesday, 1 January 2020:
North Terrace (Mount Street to Wilson Street)From 3pm on Tuesday, 31 December 2019 until 6am on Wednesday, 1 January 2020:
North Terrace (Alexander Street to Metro Cinemas on Marine Terrace) Mount Street (Wilmot Street to North Terrace) Wilson Street (Wilmot Street to North Terrace)Basalt Column car park
Closed entirely from 8.30am on Monday, 30 December 2019 until 12 noon on Wednesday, 1 January 2020.
Marine Terrace multi-storey car park
From 6.30pm on Tuesday, 31 December 2019 until 2am on Wednesday, 1 January 2020 the car park will be open and entry will be free. The carpark will re-open at 6.30am Wednesday, 1 January 2020.
