Gympie Regional Council’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, which will be held in Nelson Reserve in Gympie, will be jam packed with a wide range of free family-friendly entertainment and activities.
There will be an inflatable laser tag course, a rock climbing wall, an inflatable slide, and a jumping castle.
Mayor Mick Curran said that the range of entertainment and activities will mean there is something for everyone.
“We are excited for our community to come together to celebrate 2019 and welcome in 2020,” he said.
There will also be great free music from The Voice star Jack Vidgen, local artists Tennessee Lights and more, as well as a wide variety of food options.
It all starts at 5pm so bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy a great evening of live entertainment. The evening will conclude after the 9pm fireworks display.
Gympie Regional Council is also pleased to support the Gympie Hammers Rugby Club who will use the New Year’s Eve event to raise money for the Rural Fire Services throughout the region.
This event is proudly presented in association with the Gympie Hammers Rugby Club and supported by Bendigo Bank and GJ Gardner Homes Gympie.
