Sunday, February 9, 2020, 5:30 – 10pm In celebration of this year’s BrisAsia Festival, Council will project Mark du Potiers’ artwork Chinese Whispers onto the William Jolly Bridge from 6-10 February 2020, from 5:30–10pm each night. Mark du Potiers is a Brisbane-based artist. He examines cultural identities through interdisciplinary art practice. As an Australian with Chinese heritage, Mark draws from experiences of growing up in contemporary Australia. Council’s BrisAsia Festival showcases contemporary and traditional Asian arts and cultural events, programs and initiatives. The festival provides professional and creative sector development opportunities for Brisbane-based creatives with a strong interest in the Asia region and whose creative practice is reflective of this.
