WAPC consent to formal advertising

The Western Australian Planning Committee’s Statutory Planning Committee considered the Town’s draft LPS on 10 December 2019, resolving that formal advertising can take place following the document being modified. The required modifications were relatively minor, to ensure the draft LPS is consistent with the current State Government statutory and strategic frameworks.

A copy of the Statutory Planning Committee agenda and minutes is available on the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage's website.

Upon updating the draft Local Planning Strategy with the modifications, the Town will commence formal advertising of the document.
