An exciting opportunity exists for a full time Carpenter to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Dysart on a fixed-term 10-month contract.

Reporting to the Team Leader – Trades Services, this position is responsible for carrying out maintenance of Council properties across Isaac Regional Council.

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a Local Government environment; Relevant carpentry trade qualifications; Australian C Class Open driver’s licence; Construction Blue/White card; and Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

For this position we offer:

Salary $54,467.12 - $58,851.72 per annum + allowances Nominally 38 hours per week 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 12% super in accordance with Council policy Nine-day fortnight (RDO’s) in accordance with Council policy
