The Office of Emergency Management can provide disaster relief grants to eligible individuals and families whose homes and essential household contents have been damaged or destroyed by a disaster.

Download the Disaster Relief Grants Fact Sheet or contact the Disaster Welfare Assistance Line on 1800 018 444. The DWAL is open 8:30 till 4:30 Monday to Friday but with extended days during disasters, currently operating 7 days a week
