Round 2 of Community Grants Program now open!

Round Two of the 2019/2020 Community Small Grants Program is now open!

Council invites applications from Not For Profit, sporting, cultural and community groups within the Derwent Valley to apply for assistance in cash and/or kind support under this program.

Council will give preference to projects and proposals that have broad community benefit.

Applications close at 5pm Tuesday, 11 February, 2020.

Council is also holding a free info session about our Community Grants program which will cover important parts of the policy and guidelines, advice on putting together a strong application for a grant, support available and some of the common pitfalls of unsuccessful applications. There will be time for questions. 

The session is intended to help all organisations looking to apply for a Community Grant in the future, including those who have applied previously and those new to the opportunity.

The info session will be held from 12.30pm - 1.30pm, Tuesday 21 January in the Council Social Rooms. No registrations are necessary.

Attendees are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the information available on the Community Grants page before the session.
