Local businesses from across Condobolin and the Lachlan Shire are invited to a hands on and engaging social media workshop on Wednesday February 19th.
The afternoon session held at the Lachlan Shire Council offices on Molong Street will aim to give local businesses the skills and support needed to establish or boost their existing social media platforms and presence.
RDA Central West CEO Sam Harma said that maximising social media footprints is vital for local business if they want to remain competitive and grow.
“Social media has grown exponentially over recent years, and it is now an essential business and marketing tool which we want to support local business to capitalise on,” said Mr Harma
“We have all seen the recent success of campaigns like ‘buy from the bush’ this has clearly shown the power and potential of social media to showcase products and drive consumer interest and sales,”
The workshop will be led by social media expert Fee Jennings and aims to build business literacy in Facebook and Instagram. Topics covered will include knowing your audience, content creation, targeting posts, following trends and hashtags.
