New Water main Construction, Cut overs

Change to Traffic conditions as cut overs of mains will be undertaken in Bridge Street, Lithgow from the 20th to the 31st of January 2020.

Council will be undertaking the cut overs and final mains construction in the Bridge Street area from the 20th to the 31st of January with commencing from approximately 6:00am. This work will involve the shutting down 450mm feeder main in Bridge Street between Tank Street and Mort Street. Residents may experience interruptions to water supply during this time. During the time while cut ins and mains works are being undertaken traffic control management will be in place to direct traffic and protect workers.

Some sections of Bridge Street between Mort Street and Union Lane will be closed during these times from the 20th to the 31st of January. The intersection and roads from the Bridge Street over rail-bridge to Union Lane will be shut at various times to complete these works. All works will have traffic control and detours in place whilst the work is undertaken
