Update from Transport for NSW: Friday, 17 January 2020

Resealing work on the Barton Highway scheduled for this week has been postponed due to unexpected weather conditions.

We will keep you informed of the new work dates for resealing from Hillview Drive to Murrumbateman Road and from Vallencia Drive to Casuarina Lane.

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Barton Highway near Murrumbateman as maintenance work is carried out.

Single lane closures will be in place for road repairs from Hillview Drive to Murrumbateman Road and from Vallencia Drive to Casuarina Lane to provide a safer road for motorists.

Work will be carried out between 9.30am and 3pm on weekdays and between 6am and 5pm on Saturday from Monday 20 January to Saturday 1 February, weather permitting.

No work will be carried out over the Australia Day long week between 25 and 28 January.

Single lane closures, traffic control and reduced speed limits will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Road users are advised to allow an additional 15 minutes travel time to their journeys.

Electronic signs will be in place prior to the start of work to advise motorists of the work.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
